Bachelor

In the winter semester 2022/2023, the lecture Introduction to Economics and the corresponding course Exercise on Introduction to Economics are offered as part of the module BWiWi 1.13. More information can be found on StudiLöwe (lecture and exercise) and on Moodle.

Winter semester 2023/2024

 

In winter semester 2023/2024 the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management does not offer a proseminar.

General

 

In some semesters, the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management offers a Master's seminar as well as a Bachelor's seminar on relevant topics from the department.

Each seminar can be attended by 30 students. The topics to be covered in the seminar are announced in the kick-off meeting. Information on time and place can be found in the semester-dependent events in StudiLöwe. This is always possible from the day the course catalog opens.

The application for seminar places is possible in the following periods:

  • for seminars in the winter semester: 01 June to 15 June
  • for seminars in the summer semester: 01 January to 15 January

PhD

Aims of the seminar

The aim of the doctoral seminar is to introduce different methods of data collection and empirical analysis for innovation and start-up research. In particular, the aim is to clarify the prerequisites for application, the typical challenges in application, and the limitations of each method.

 

Performance Requirements

The award of a Schein requires participation in all lectures and discussion sessions as well as a 15-minute presentation on the student's own research project and the methodology used.

 

Schedule and organization

05/16/2022, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Presentation of different empirical methods based on examples of concrete research projects from innovation and start-up research (Witt).

05/16/2022, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Participants will present their research projects and the methodology used, discussion after each presentation.

05/17/2022, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Presentation of different research methods based on examples of concrete research projects from innovation and start-up research (Witt).
